Objects and Persistence (BACFUG) recording

June 22, 2006 · 5 Comments

Many thanx to the folks who turned up in person to hear me talk about Objects & Persistence (and Reactor) last night at BACFUG - and to Phill Nacelli and Nic Tunney for attending online (and contributing to the discussion). If you missed it, you can view the Breeze recording. Or, if you're attending CFUNITED next week, you can hear the presentation live, along with my talks about factories and the all-new duck typing talk!

Is it just me, or were the slides 1 or two mouseclicks ahead of the audio on on this presentation?

Al, yeah, it does look that way. Probably a side-effect of me presenting from Windows XP running on Parallels Desktop running on an Intel-powered MacBook Pro. The sound is also lower than I would like. Sorry about that.

    Started listening... great stuff!

Could you post the powerpoint? (to help off set the delay)

Alex - check the "Software" pod on my blog: the presentation and code have been available since March.

    Hello Sean,

Great presentation. I learn a little more every time I listen to you!

BTW, thanks for the mention re: application generation. I've finally put together a blog with some information on the subject for CF developers. Check out Brian Rinaldi's blog - he provides the link.

    See you at CF United!

    Best Wishes,
    Peter
