Fusebox 5.1 is in development

November 3, 2006 · 4 Comments

This evening I started work on the Fusebox 5.1 release. You can keep an eye on progress by watching the Fusebox 5.1 Milestone report page. You can also see what changes are being made to the source code by browsing the Subversion repository or, if you're feeling adventurous, you can use Subversion to check out the latest version of Fusebox from http://svn.fuseboxframework.org/framework/trunk and then you can help with the testing process for the next release.

The Frameworks Sample Code should go on the Fusebox.org site.

Also, "Factories" sounds interesting, but it's way over my head. Is this somehow part of Fusebox 5.1?

Jeff, the factories presentation and code have nothing to do with Fusebox. The frameworks presentation and code covers Mach II and Model-Glue more extensively than Fusebox.

I've been out of the ColdFusion world for a few years, and I've decided to relearn Coldfusion, and get back into Fusebox. Fusebox 5 is really awesome Sean!

Thanx Jeff! Join the Fusebox 5 mailing list (link on the home page of the Fusebox website) to stay current on developments in 5.1 as well as ask any questions you may have!
