webDU - call for papers!

October 22, 2007 ·

webDU 2008 is starting to roll and is calling for papers. As usual, it's at the Star City casino resort in Sydney (a great venue). I attended MXDU (as it was originally called) in 2004 and 2005 and it was one of the most vibrant web development conferences I'd ever been too - highly recommended! Currently flights from the Bay Area to Sydney are around $1,200 including taxes... hmm...

well, Sean, you know you're always welcome "down under" and not just in Sydney.

time for a bit of a holiday perhaps? - May in in the northern part of the country (eg: Queensland) is just about perfect - clear skys, not too hot, etc.

am I hitting the "temptation" buttons yet?

@barry, webDU in Sydney is plenty of temptation all on its own without additional reasons. The issues are cost and time. I'm already speaking at cf.Objective() in Minneapolis a few days before webDU...

Sean - you can catch the same flight as me, leaving cf.Objective and landing in Sydney just in time for webDU ;)

    Too easy :D
