Pimp My Mac

Simeon Bateman likes his Mac interface the way it is but points folks to my entry about tweaking. So I figured I'd show folks what my current desktop actually looks like:

You can see the cascading transparent menus with image preview (the Scorpio wallpaper), the row of minimized windows across the top of the screen, the "Cold" theme applied to the UI.

That is definitely a custom interface. Looks pretty cool. My problem is I am so indecisive that I would be switching every day or so.

    Thanks for the pics!

    Nice.
That's way more IRC windows than I have. :)

I have to admit, Colloquy has grown on me.

It looks like you've got a feed reader open in the background of the shot. Might I ask what you are using to read all the feeds?

    Thanks.

@James, it is NetNewsWire Pro 2.1 edition. I've used it ever since 1.x was in beta and I love it! From Ranchero Software (although I think they got bought by someone?).

Sean, this obviously begs the question, what are you using to mess with the interface? And what else are you running that us lesser beings might be interested in (like, what's the mini-screen thingy, the upsidedown box, the bear paw and the thing next to the Skype icon?). Hmmm?

@Stephen, you're obviously not reading my blog closely enough :)

I blogged all about the tweaking programs only two days before this post...

    Mea culpa. :)

Still recovering from the new job announcement. How will I justify visiting the Adobe offices on my USA holiday in October now?
