Back in 2003 I talked about certification and the Learn By Heart practice exams. Nat Dunn (of Learn By Heart) just sent me this announcement:
LearnByHeart, which offers practice web-based Macromedia certification exams is now out of beta. The site offers three full ColdFusion MX 7 exams and 3 full Dreamweaver 8 exams. Flash 8 exams are expected by the end of May. Each exam category costs $99.96, but corfield.org visitors can get a $40 discount by using the promo code "corfield".I think it's great that my readers will get such a discount on these great practice exams! Huge thanks to Learn By Heart for this!

Wow that's really cool! Is there a possibility to see an example what the tests look like? My personal favorite is CF Exam buster by CentraSoft. It's well worth the money and helped me a lot with my CFMX 6 certification!
I'm still waiting on Adobe/Macromedia to send my "Developer kit".
Hey Sean. Just a heads up that you posted this with a date of *3*/23 instead of *2*/23, so it's appearing as a "future post" in aggregators.

I don't get it..
$99 for 3 practice exams, and the real thing is only $50 more. For $99 I would expect a book or some training to go with it. I could develop 66 questions out of the book in a few hours. Maybe it's a low demand - high price thing, or maybe I'm missing something. I might pay at most $10 each for a full 66 question practice exam. Check out Ben Forta's blog for some practice questions.
