I don't care what the audience thought, Jay London is way funnier than Gary Gulman!
If anyone knows about Jay London doing any comedy gigs in the Bay Area, let me know - my wife and I would love to see him perform live!

Right on, Sean.<br /><br />I hope this doesn't come across the wrong way, but Jay London is MUCH more of a "cerebral" comic, ala Steven Wright. Gary Goldman appeals to a much wider, "least common denominator" type audience. I like them both equally, as they have different styles.<br /><br />I still think the Eastern Indian guy who did the jokes about his father and the boogeyman was the funniest guy yet. I also think Todd Glass was quite funny, too!

I still chuckle about the one-armed guy that got up on stage and said, "I want y'all to know I wasn't always a comedian. I used to have this kick ass chainsaw juggling act."

Jay was very funny, and I definitely appreciated him and see his potential. Unfortunately he didn't really connect with the audience. When he understood that, rather than try to read the audience and connect, he emphasized the disconnect.<br /><br />Where Gary succeded was not his "least common denominator" approach, but that early on he figured out what kind of audience he had and worked it accordingly. That's why he won, he showed versatility. <br /><br />I would love to see Jay sometime, but I fear it would have to be with his type of audience for him to come off well. I really appreciated his attitude, though. That which doesn't kill me will improve me. Wish that we'd see more of that kind of optimistic humility.

Hi everyone...I was just curious to what nationality Jay London is? Does anyone know??! I'm really curious cos...I just am!! Anyway, Jay was pretty cool w/ his act. He seemed like a nice guy, too. I don't really like any of the ladies on the show at all, and Any was really annoying, thank goodness he's off the show. Did anyone like Vladmir? He did a pretty god job for being so new at it. The Eastern Indian guy was really funny too, I think he got cheated. I still like last year's show soooo much better. Raplhie could make you laugh just hearing him laugh...Rich could make you laugh ironing...these people on the show are too big headed to just sit down and have some fun!

If that makes you laugh, you'll like Ant.<br /><br />Jay is amazingly sharp - all those one-liners!<br /><br />Ralphie was funny because, well, he looked funny and he knew it - and he *played* it!<br /><br />I like Tammy but she's close to having one joke - "I'm a mobster's daughter".<br /><br />I think that Alonzo Bodden will win. Very dry, very sharp but appeals to a broad audience... My money's on him now...

Jay London is a stand up guy, I was very sad to see him go. I work in Vegas as a dice dealer, I work with a guy who is a dealer who has done stand up comedy with Jay Londen as is a personal friend of Jay. When he told me he is friends with Jay I said "yeah right" and he then shows me his cell phone and in the directory says "Jay London". <br />Jay London is a great person and what you see with him is what you get, nothing fake about him he is a real class act.<br />I wish Jay the best and I know he will be sucessful in what ever he does.<br />kj

I agree when Jay was eliminated I could not believe it. He was so much more funnier than Gary. Last Summer I was in LA and I saw Jay perform at the Comedy Store and out of every comedian he was my favorite. His act was one of a kind!!

Gary Goldman in any comedy club in this country would crush Jay on stage. I have seen both comics in person, Jays act of witty one liners works in 5 minute blocks but his act can't hold an audiences attention over 15min. Gary already had a great name in the comedy world his material is clever and funny, nothing against Jay his act is hit or miss I still like the guy but one liner comics are known to fly or die on stage. Anyway the nice thing about comedy is we all have different preception of what funny is.

I was sad to see that they both would go head to head. Would have much rather seen one of the girls go at it against them. I can stand when a comic uses the same material in 2 different sets, example being Tammy. I am wishing for Gary or Alonzo to win. <br /><br />"thank you"

oops...I meants i CAN'T stand when a comic uses the same material twice. Bravo to Gary for not doing that.

Actually I heard Tammy talk about having to use the same jokes on the show on the Bob and Tom show. All the contestants had to incorporate the some of the same sets & jokes they used in the first few competitions in all the remaining competitions. The judges want to see how the jokes play in front of different audiences. So even though the tv audience has heard the comics use some of the same material the audience that was judging them at the time hadn't.

Does anybody know where Jay will be performing in the next couple of months, or have any contact info at all for him?

I have nothing against Gary Goldman, i just think Jay London was cheated out of this contest. Gary normally has funny material, but that night in the head to head, he was bland...I basically knew the contest was over just by having him walk up to the microphone an all you hear are the ladies going OOOOHHHHH! I've never laughed so hard before i started watching Jay London, i hope America loves him as much as i do, an puts him back in the Contest Finals. <br /><br />I do agree, the Eastern man talkin about the boogie man, an Pablo Francisco and the guy that talked about Jukeboxes being a ripoff should've made it into the house. I've read somewhere that people like Ant an Bonnie only made it into the house due to connections. Such as Bonnie dating Rich Vos.<br /><br />Overall, i wish to see, if Jay cant be there, Alonzo against John in the finals. I dont like Tammy, or the fact that Cathleen has not had to prove herself once, but of all the comics, Alonzo an John to me are the funniest.

Out of the entire house, Jay London is the only one that's made me laugh so far. Alonzo gets cudos because I think he's a great roaster -- he has a good delivery. Todd could be a good comic but he has awful material. And Tammy is SOOOO lame! She has a total of what, 3 jokes?<br /><br />Remember to cast your votes for Jay. Not only is he the funniest comic, but I think he is the ONLY comic out of the 10. Nobody else has the talent.

I agree with Demonic. Jay is also the only one who made me laugh as well. I think he is hillarious and he wouldnt be the same if he didnt have that look to him. I voted for him 9 times. I had tried to get my mom to vote also but she "doesnt Like Him" Whats wrong with her. I just really hope my 9 votes helped him out. VOTE FOR JAY LONDON

When I heard there was a wild card, the only thought that popped in my head was Jay London will be back. I have faith that the country will vote for the funnier person. Jay is witty and quick with some crude thrown in. Jay is the best.<br /><br />Glass is a grown man who acts like a ten year old. That whole bit about "what if..." made me want to puke. Ant, you're gay, we get it. That flight attendent bit was awful. Bonnie is the typical, unfunny female comedianne. Corey's appeal is like a smarmy guy hitting on women at the bar, only he does it on stage.<br /><br />As they say here in Chicago, "Vote early, vote often" and do it for JAY LONDON

Gary Gulman is the funniest comic in that whole competition!!!! yea, Jay London is funny---but in no way is he funnier than Gary Gulman!!! I saw Gary in person before Last Comic Standing and everyone was laughing hysterically, he is by far the funniest and should definitely take the title!

Jay is a funny guy, I was glad that he was voted back tonight. He reminds me of a comic, the one who was killed in a car crash in the early 90's.<br />Just look wise.<br />Anyway, true, I think that his comedy couldn't hold a croud with his one line comedy. But I think he holds something much different.. a very original guy.. strait forward, and right out of the woods.

Lol, Jay said something about a date and roses...I don't remember it too well, but it was really funny! I just watched the 2nd wild card eppie- I thought it was kinda weird that the 'wild cards' got to performs 2 times. Anyway, all you guys voting for Jay 50 or more times pulled through :) Kinda surprised that not many people liked Corey. I didn't think he was all that bad, but then again some of his competition isn't that great, either. Ant...ugh...like Michael said, we get that he's gay. He doesn't need a gay pride flag to prove it!!! Neway..Tammy is annoying, just like Ant, we know you're Italian, it's not hard to tell. You've only talked about it through the whole show! Bonnie..she had about 2 funny jokes, the only one I remember was about a girl robbing the bank and the guy looking at her boobs or something like that. I liked Todd because he was the only one who wanted to have fun and not be big headed about winning, alliances and stupid crap that really has nothing to do with the part of the show you're suppose to watch it for. Comedy is suppose to be FUNNY- not 'oh, well let's get rid of him because he didn't wash the dishes.' To me, the people who formed alliances were the immature ones! I'm sorry but Jay London is just a total Steven Wright rip-off and a much less funny one at that. I can't believe he made it out of the wild card round (though it's better than Ant making it). I'm rooting for Gary, John, and Alonzo to make it to the round of 3...

It's great to see that there are so many people who see Jay's (intellectual) humor the same way I do. Unfortunately, there are probably way too many people watching who simply "don't get it" enough for Jay to win. Rest assured, I'll be at his shows if he ever makes it to my neck of the woods. Jay London is absolutely the funniest new comic I've seen in YEARS. This guy is "off the charts" when it comes to jokes. He is unfortunately far too intellectual for the mainstream to "get it," but we'll see him again...someday soon...that guy has too much talent to just fade away...I liked Alonzo a lot, and he always had good sets, but I have such a soft spot for Jay!!! I love him, man!!

I LOVE JAY LONDON!! Not only is he adorable, but so funny, I always shake my head and say, cornball....I love the guy! Jay is great because his schtick is so Zen. Some of them take a second to register, it's not slapstick. I'd like to pass one with the guy and talk about Niche and Chaos Theory.<br /><br />I'm in LA Jay leets hook one up bro!
