Fusebox Workshop

August 2, 2007 · 2 Comments

Thank you to everyone who turned up at the cfFrameWorks workshop today, to watch me talk about Fusebox and show several small applications. I expect the recording to be available shortly (and the link will be posted on the cfFrameWorks blog) but in the meantime I've added the presentation (PDF) and code (ZIP) files to the "Software" pod on my blog. The first example is just the regular Fusebox 5.1 skeleton application but in order to run the other two examples, you'll need the latest build of Fusebox from SVN via the fusebox.org site.

Thanks for a great intro. presentation into the new features of 5.5. I think new people will find it a lot easier to jump straight in to Fusebox without having to worry about the xml side of things.

Would you be able to do a more advanced Fusebox talk where you could demo the use of plugins/lexicons, in particular the use of reactor and coldspring would be really useful.

I have just started using Reactor with FB5.1 and I have just been using <set> instead of the reactor lexicons as I am not 100% clear on their usage.

    Thanks again!

Thanx Dave - have you looked at my presentation "Extending the Language of Fusebox"? That covers lexicons. You can download it - and sample code - from my blog.
