You think Adobe Acrobat is a boring product? Watch
this cool overview of the new release, coming soon!

I for one will be keeping my eyes peeled Sean.
One of thr projects I worked on recently uses PDF forms to collect info (People are so happy to work in their Inbox - but ask them to go to a website...). The info is submitted by email and I have a CF FB5 powered back end parsing and reporting the results. Works really neatly. Next step will be to generate the forms dynamically - probably use the Java/API that's available from Adobe as pointed out by Ben recently.
So - I don't think Acrobat's boring - neither does the client - took about a couple of days, most of which was getting the forms knocked into shape in LiveCycle designer

Richard, always good to hear an Acrobat success story. Especially one that involves ColdFusion as well! (And Fusebox 5!)

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guesstimate that the production budget for the overview itself was roughly half of the total R&D budget for Acrobat 8!
Pretty slick, to say the least!

I think we should have more real life CF success stories so I've started sprinkling posts with my own modest efforts. Sometimes it looks as though everyone in the CF community is just busy designing/discussing frameworks. I know that this isn't true, and also without these guys I would be struggling. However it's nice to see the other side of the picture sometimes.

Acrobat Connect looks a lot like Breeze. Is it based on the same foundations?
Or is it like a Breeze-lite?
Very cool to see Adobe actually integrating the best of MM into their products.
