Hallelujah! This is great news. Some day, we (Mac users) won't have to wait 6 additional months for apps.

    Hi Sean,
    This is so great:)
    One comment if I may:
The coldfusion extensions do not seem to work:(
I hope that this is something to be included in the future

@John, the CF plugins that are part of CFMX 7.0.2 only work on Eclipse 3.1 - Flex Builder 2 for Mac is based on Eclipse 3.2. The CF product team are aware of the issue.

@David, the main delay was that Eclipse 3.1 - the stable release when Flex Builder was created - had bugs on OS X that prevented graphical plugins from working. Once 3.2 came out, it became possible to port Flex Builder to the that code base and release a Mac version. CFEclipse has also had to face compatibility issues between 3.1 and 3.2 (the latest beta of CFEclipse only recently became available for the older 3.1 version).

If Eclipse 3.1 had not had those bugs on OS X, Flex Builder would almost certainly have been a simultaneous release on Win/Mac.

I'm having trouble downloading this, but maybe that's a sign of overwhelming demand from millions of Mac users online. :) On a related note, the Soundbooth beta is Intel-only, and here I am stuck at work with my 10-month old dual-G5!

@Ken, check out the post - and comment - on Developer Dispatch about Soundbooth:
