This has been mentioned in a few places but I figured it was worth spreading the news as much as possible. Adobe has a series of ColdFusion eSeminars:
  • ColdFusion-powered Rich Internet Applications - Wednesday, September 17, 2008 11:00 A.M. PDT
  • Beyond HTML: Using Ajax, PDF, and More to Create Engaging Applications with ColdFusion 8 - Wednesday, September 24, 2008 11:00 A.M. PDT
  • ColdFusion and AIR supply calendaring system for San Diego Department of Child Support Services (SDDCSS) - Wednesday, October 15, 2008 11:00 A.M. PDT

sigh...

I wish Adobe events would go the extra effort and do more than say "PDT" time. " 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM US/Pacific" means nothing to me.

I grow weary trying to remember the Pacific UTC offset and then coverting it to my own. And then pissing around seeing if the changeover between PDT and PST applies, etc.

something like Charlie does with using the "Fixed World Clock" is all that's needed. It ain't hard.

like this:

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?year=2008&month=09&day=17&hour=11&min=00&sec=0&p1=224

meh.

Heh, I don't live in Australia but even I know that 11am Pacific is "very early" Sydney time (the next day).

You should just be grateful they are doing ColdFusion eSeminars at all... :)

anyone else see "ColdFusion and AIR Supply" and think it's some sort of sick 80's soft-rock advertising tie-in? Makes me queasy just thinking about it.

I signed up - and never got the email with meeting details :(

I wish they would have the meeting url on their webpage - at least when you are logged in and have registered.
