ColdFusion/Java position in San Francisco

May 12, 2006 · No Comments

I rarely post jobs on behalf of recruiters but since I've been emailing with Alex and the job spec mentions Mach II, I'll make an exception for her:
It's a brand new, permanent position based in San Francisco for a ColdFusion/Java engineer. This is with a company that develops event planning software for Fortune 1000 companies. They are hungry to bring in more web talent to their process-driven software development team. Skills wish list:
  • 3 yrs+ ColdFusion (ideally with CFMX, CFCs)
  • 2yrs+ server-side JAVA
  • SQL Server 2000
  • Experience building high-traffic websites
  • Experience with common source control systems.
...and of course, a professional manner along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, great references. Nice to have:
  • Mach II framework (or similar)
  • QA / Stress testing
  • Junit

And, of course, another reminder that I am hiring, looking for an experienced Java/CF web developer with good XML / web services skills!
