I'd like to state for the record: I do not have an Intel-powered Mac, if ColdFusion MX does not run on an Intel-powered Mac (which, apparently, it does not), I have no idea why. So please stop asking me if I know how to get it working, OK? I'm deeply envious that you have a MacBook Pro or even an Intel-powered iMac or Mini. Please don't add to that frustration by asking me questions about Intel-powered Macs.
If someone is kind enough to buy me one, I promise I'll figure out how to get CFMX running on it and blog about it. Until then, then entire subject of Intel-powered Mac is verboten.
Thank you.

I promise I wont ask you again :( I shall blog any info I can get on getting it running. I did get it running under JRUN by doing:
java -jar jrun.jar -start default
so it CAN run and it does, pretty quickly.

I've installed Parallels VM Workstation on my MacTel with an XP instance and CFMX runs very well. This may be the easiest way to get CF working right now and it shows up on the network as a different machine (different ip). This is great for testing, but not ideal for use as a dedicated server
Mark, that was exactly what I suggested on the dervishmoose blog so I'm to hear that it *does* work and hope other people will just do what I had suggested (even tho' on dervishmoose they claimed it did not work!).
Mark, can you post your steps to getting it working. I have tried and cannot get it to start.
Thanks!
I shall see what I can do in the next couple of days.
MD
I think I got it now and I posted the instructions on my blog. cyberdust.wordpress.com
