October will be a treat for ColdFusion (and Flex) developers!
Adobe MAX happens in early October down in Los Angeles, then Dan Wilson and friends are organizing a North Carolina ColdFusion conference in mid-October followed by BFusion/BFlex organized by Bob Flynn and friends (I believe this will be a week after the NC conference).
Then you can have a month of down time before the next RIAdventure Cruise'n'Conference in December. This year organizer Joshua Cyr has teamed up with the 360 Conference team to make the event even bigger and better!

Our original speaker had a schedule conflict and our backup speaker just pulled out so there will be no BACFUG meeting tonight. Sorry.
We'll be back in September with Seth Duffey and image manipulation.

I hadn't heard of Twitter until this week which makes me feel very old school. The 360Flex conference has a Twitter back channel so you may want to sign up so you can contribute to near-real-time online discussion about the conference.

Ted Patrick notes that there are only a handful of tickets left for the 360Flex conference in March (5-7, San Jose). It's only $100 and it's packed full of Flexy goodness!
